Luke, a cocky, pampered man is forced to come back home hoping to slip back into family life and the local businesses, only to find that everything around him has changed while he has not. His sisters, Sarah, Ruth, and ex-girlfriend Rachael each run parts of the family enterprises with high competence and purpose, and their mother Mary quietly evaluates who should inherit leadership. As Mary considers the future of their legacy, a picture forms of a family at odds, each member trying to define their place while circling around Luke's return.
